Haeinsa buddhist temple. The annual Tripitaka Koreana Festival honours the temple's collection of 81,340 carved wooden printing blocks with the complete buddhist teachings, declared a world cultural heritage in 1995. The main ceremony starts with a procession around the temple, led by the monks, and ends by walking along a labyrinthic path with a fake printing block on the head, swearing to lead an honorable life.
